Hmm I have an idea... Name: Mule Velocity: Low-Med depending on payload and current ship status Acceleration: Low Turning rate: Med/High Precision Primary weapon: Forward laser array Secondary weapon/ability: Automated drones specialized in resource recovery "Mining/scavenging/etc" Special Ability: Automated hull repair at a slow rate once hull hits 20% Recharge rate: Average / slow upon activation of above HoT
I think those should all be options, for you space war criminals out there. I think having the options makes my decision to not indulge in them feel meaningful, and not just default hehehe
Just no taking up trading Orion slave girls :) or else your ship may no longer be yours after a while.

While I too prefer text to show the scale for weather/temp/etc the bar rating system could work but I have a few thoughts on it. On the rating bar, the colors can be a bit more muted with the bar it's rated at being more vibrant The color bars may be troublesome to those within the spectrum of color blindness "I'm not color blind so no first hand experience with that here" One more thing which could be very nice, if upon scanning t

Aww man, I became a founder too late :( I would have named one planet/solar system Sanitarium :) now it being either a Metallica reference or nut house reference I'll leave that up to everyone's imagination lol Hmm Zap Landing sounds somewhat like an asteroid based space port within an active nebula somewhere
Contoller support is a given as it is being released on consoles. When that support comes is anybody's guess. Everything else is either possibly doable (3d vision) or would not work in this game (VR/hololens).
The odds are good on controller support if any game has a console version but it's not a 100% which is why I asked. I'm looking at you Mass Effect fran

Personally I'm the fan of separate computers in the same house so I can throw wads of paper to mess with my friends... that and if we can keep our ship selections hidden from who we're playing with that'd improve match diversity. Unfortunately I found 2 players 1 keyboard a bit too cramped & a buzzkill if someone doesn't turn off "Sticky Keys" before the match starts. -- Not to mention for the longest of times many USB keyboards had a 6 simulta

When it comes to crew "Dots" I agree with Ron on how they're all valuable but it gave me a different idea... If the game has an adjustable difficulty level, maybe some of the following could be added in for added realism Crew losses via events outside of battle/exploration IE Unlucky Redshirt #1 falls out of the shower & breaks his/her neck Micro asteroid penetrates the hull killing Redshirt #2 during a shield malfu

No worries on keyboard sharing being at risk :) I'm not a teenager in vocational school anymore so now every one of my friends owns at least a console & computer as well. You know, when it comes to LAN parties I sure am glad I no longer have to lug a 75lb monitor to a friends house.

Tsk tsk tsk... well now we know who's mind is defaulted in the gutter :P Hmm you know, I never really asked Is 5.1/7.1/higher going to be supported -- just curious, that way if a ship is using some sort of method to cloud their presence we can figure out their general direction when they fire upon us.

:) that's why it got asked... being part of an old school gaming generation where 2 people would share a keyboard for pvp, I honestly think it'd be beyond awesome to see the match between 2 friends using AR on the kitchen table. "Think Data & Kolrami playing Strategema for an example" However yes, I know in reality this would be a MASSIVE investment of resources "Time/Money" with probably little/no return value to it.
In the current state, if I'm interpreting the situation correctly, The Sa-Matra and any story element related to the original races can't be used or even mentioned, afaik.
:) that's why I put in the breaking of the 4th wall, it'd be lore known to us outside of the game & fully unknown by the in

I may have either overlooked this or looked in the wrong location, but I was wondering if the following items either are supported or are planned on being supported "if time allows" :) also sorry if this should be in a different location. Will these be supported on PC Controllers -- IE X-Box 360/One gamepad / PS4 Gamepad when Steam supports it. Virtual Reality Headsets -- Rift/Vive Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D support Aug

Hmm how about the explosion that destroyed the Sa-Matra tore a massive hole in the fabric of space, time, and the 4th wall which not only splintered SC:3 off into a different universe but threw us "The entity at the other side of the 4th wall" back in time to before it all happened to attempt to re-shape the passage of time and hopefully allow us to not raise so many death flags. "Yes somewhat of a dead pool reference there since he started breaking the 4th wall back in 1991 :)"

Actually it'd be very easy to toss in new life, be it feral animals to a race like the Thraddash that are between powers and are currently unable to utilize space flight. Yes I'd be super excited to see TFB rejoin & re-introduce the classic races as I truly wonder what they'll do to the races we know/love. Now a different way we could see the races is... has it been calculated how many & which races were driven to extinction or
Wait.....this is a joke right?!? Please tell me you're kidding. The concept of DLC violates the whole idea of the vast mysterious galaxy. Now instead of a space adventure where any alien race could be behind the next system I just see coders adding things....ugh.
Honestly in any space game, I'd say probably the most epic DLC, especially with games

I'd say via my opinion #1 Dynamic #2 The old SC2 fan in me says 1v1 is the way to go, however a chunk of me is saying Team V Team or even scaled up to Fleet v Fleet at times could be fun and challenging. However Multi V Multi only works as well as the AI & the ability to changes tactics + issuing of individual orders from time to time #3 Honestly I thought the camera system found in SC2 - The Urquan Masters was quite nice. Now an in

Agreed, a few other items to be verified "just by the game play video" Will the lander... Follow terrain valleys / mountains / crash into trees / etc Have variable lander upgrades, or will those be held off until the game reaches where SC:2 was when Toys for Bob launched it Show damage reflecting how it had gotten damaged... ie dented bumper from ramming something, claw marks, scorch marks, etc Show some sort of "Mining" action when obtai
