Not one of your "freedoms" has been taken away. Why do you guys always have to be so dramatic? I can only say that he has lost one freedom. The freedom to, by phone, talk with terrorist outside of the country without having their plots listened to. But that should not matter to much, because his own party voted for that act too.

What are you talking about 89,000 Signatures aren't nevadans? But 89,000 are not the majority of eligible voting Nevadans, is it? That is was a ballet is for. I could easily find 89,000 signatures to pass a ballet to ban more legalization ballets. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quote-Table"

I just wish that we could just vote on a ballet forbidding any more ballets legalizing marijuana. I am just sick and tired of hearing about this every two years. Get over it!!!! When are you and your out of State interest groups going to learn that the majority of eligible voting Nevadans don't want it legalized?

Oh so let me guess your going to votre for John Ensign instead of Jack Carter based on Pro-Life issues instead of the fact he allows Bush to illegally wiretap without the FISA court and your going to vote for Jon C Porter instead of Tessa Hafen even though he has lied his teeth off about her even saying she doesn't live in Nevada when I went to highschool with her. </T

The whole thing about money going between a Corporation and Reid is going to get knocked down quickly. The Republicans have not served the real red meat yet. I think they are waiting for a week before the election to nail Reid. They will not release the good stuff to early, like the Democrats did for Folley. The real story is that Reid's son Rory was the Clark County Commission Chairman. The very same Commission that overruled the County Planning Commission that refused the original

Unless your from Nevada you need to shutup! Your the one who said he doesnt listen to his constituents are you from Nevada? Have you ever written Him? I think NOT! He always Listens to his constituents both the left wingers and right wingers. Same with Jon C porter (R) but because porter votes with Bush 90% of the time and John Ensign for forcing Yucca mountain on Nevada a

I can personally say that some action was taken from this memo. The first time I had even heard the words "Homeland Security" was at a NCO Conference for the National Guard in late July 2001. The guest speaker was then Army Command Sergeant Major Jack Tilley. He had stated that the first role of the National Guard was going to become "Homeland Security". I know that should not be a shock to anyone, but you must remember that before 9/11, fighting the big war and the many low

NO LEE, the members of our National Guard wont be doing their one weekend per month on the border, nor their two weeks per year. They will be called to full time duty, and the 6000 promised is only ONE AND A HALF PERCENT of the 400,000 National Guardsmen we currently have registered, ready, and available. <B

I mean really, Lee, let's just call off the war in Iraq and leave our borders completely open Did I ever claim that the job will not get done? Have I ever said am I against using National Guard troops in Iraq? I may not think the NG should be patrolling the border is a good idea (when it is more of a la

If you can’t attend a complete semester at collage, what use are the benefits? DUH. You go to school AFTER your term of service. I repeat, how can a white boy be so dumb? A Guard member receives more then just the GI Bill for collage education in most States.<a href="http://usmilitary.about.com/od/guardandreserve/l/bltuition.htm

I placed this response on LW's posting, but I think this would be my complaints: While this maybe a good very short term fix, but it is not a good long term fix. The average National Guard drill is filled with training, training, and more training. From the moment that a properly trained part time soldier arrives

or a Communist Dictatorship like the ones in Eastern Europe which Hind sight is 20/20. At the time (if you want Kingbee's conspiracy theory about B-team) we didn't know that communism in Eastern Europe would safely fall like it did. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394

Kingbee I knew this would bring you out of hiding. Nice to talk with you again. As for some of your failures that you want to place on the left, you need to look at when and why they were. The Bay of Pigs failed not because of the CIA but due to two main reasons. A President withheld the vital US navy/air support planned into the original mission and leaks from within the Cuban exiles themselves that compound the missing air suppor

We all know recently that the CIA Director Goss has recently stepped down from his post. Why? As a child in the early 70s I loved to play the brave CIA agent. The man who walked in the shadows to gather information or the operative that would strike a quick blow for the free world. While at the time I thought the stories of James Bond to be nothing more then fiction; I would watch the Bond movies over and over. It would be mean years lat

I do agree with your basic point that the Democrats may gain from default. But your artical is just another sign of the problems with the Democrats. i.e. pointing out what is the problem, but not provide anything that could solve the problem. I'm just woundering what explanation they will have for not having anything, when they are no longer the minority? Whining, just saying we can do better and blaming others don't work when your

After all your bloggs and books Gene, I am sure that I will not be voting for George Bush in "08". Now why don't you write on supporting someone that could be elected to the Presidency in 08, for a change. You seem to be very good at tearing people down, let see you use your powers for Good.
