There is an awful lot of hypocrisy in the Church, but don't forget they have a few good members. JC himself wasn't too bad a bloke. I don't quite understanbd your problem with poeople not conforming to your concept of gender differences. I find it strange for a start that you seem to have never met a feminine straight bloke or butch straight chick. It obviously has nothing to do with sexuality. This is because the whole gender thing is a load of bullsh

Good luck Teegs, I think you've got a bloody good chance. The fella's just sick. By the way how do I make a "My favourites" thing?

Who'd have thunked it? Andrew Bolt and I agree on something! The debate over whether to have homework or not has resurfaced. Many are arguing homework should be abolished, and they're not all students or even necessarily parties who stand to gain from this. I remember being set so much homework in Year 6 that I was up past my parents' bedtime. It was the year

Fisho I'm glad you know about this blog, this is going to be fun. I have no problem with Bush having his opinion and telling it to Latham, but it's poor diplomacy to broadcast a comment like that to the entire media. Negotiations on divisive political issues like this should take place behind closed doors, particularly when they are quite clearly going to be one of the deciding factors in our upcoming election. It was irresponsible of Bush. Y

Recently a popular childrens' author, Morris Gleitzman published a book in which he tells the story of a refugee child who arrives in Australia only to be sent to jail for not going through the proper channels of visa application. This has caused a lot of discussion of the place of politics in our education system because many teachers have decided to read this fascin

Peter Scchwartz has published an article called "The Racism of Diversity", in which he attacks multiculturalism and its rhetoric. I think his article makes some valid points about rhetoric but some of what he says is rubbish. His racist article can be found at: http://www.aynrand.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=7915&news_iv_ctrl=1021 My response that I sen

Just to clarify, I am Left Wing Shock J and Rom Rogers but now that I have my own blog, I have a username. As I already said, my Government supports the US actions and has never criticised the Coalition of the Willing because supposedly Australia is one of the key partners. Our Opposition is not as supportive but it is not very critical either. I believe the majority of our people are opposed to our part in the War but we can't exactly do much more

Misanthropic, you are forgetting that emoticons were created by Americans. Good luck to you explaining to them that they need an emoticon to express irony. Now, before you get upset Teegs, this post needs one of the aforementioned emoticons. And I can't believe you missed the bits in Wilde's writing in which he identifies himself as flaming. He is the flamingest flamingo in all history.

This is my most recent article and it was published in the Courier. Michael Moore recently told Australians in an interview on our 60 Minutes that we should vote against Prime Minister John Howard in the next election. It was shortly after a comment by Dubya Bush that supported the policies of John Howard and went against Opposition Leader Mark Latham's policies......
