WELCOME to you from someone who has been here forever and like MySecret said, you will be here 24/7. Think of your skeletal remains at your computer and life passing you by for awhile, it creates a strange form of O.C.D. Good Luck and Thanks for joining in on the fun. Maxine

Thanks to all who wished me a Happy Birthday,I was blessed by my two children who did stop long enough in their lives to say happy birthday, hubby was a jerk like he has been for years but when you have been married for 25 years you really don't expect much from him, atleast I don't. Anyway thanks again all. It's been a real eye opener for me this year not to tell family and friends it was my birthday because now I

I figure I might as well let strangers say "Happy Birthday" to me, most of my friends will forget, family won't call I am sure, that happens every year....Don't get me wrong, Birthdays are not a really big deal but you know I do like to get anyone anywhere to say it, so go on....say it for me and I just want to see how many I can get from everyone here. Thanks in advance.....Maxine

Just buy a new fan, if it's loud too (then you are way too sensitive to noise). Mine is quiet, I replace mine every 6 months due to dust and all. They are not very expensive and it just might help, could have been a bad one to start, with a problem, who knows. Like a car, maybe it should have been on recall. I would not however ever change the speed, you want every bit of cooling you can get to keep everything in good running order. Good Luck.

Its funny, When I bought wincustomize it states when I bought it, I have been a member since 2001. The object of this message is that none of the others I bought state when I bought the programs, windowblinds or cursorxp have no dates. Well it really doesn't matter. I am just a happy person with all of it anyway, even though I bought all my stuff at different times and could have just spent 49.95 on the whole system with object desktop...lol.

Some idiot (fixed my computer) a couple years ago. His solution was to give me his windowsxp, I didn't know until I was notified when I went to windows updates. He even installed the professional version, Dumb ass (parden me) didn't ask if I had the disk and had a legal version, which I did. I had to call Microsoft and tell them the story, they looked up my serial number from my disk and then gave me the proffessional version key because it was on my machine. Can you say upgrade...! Why pirate,

I have a daughter who is handicapped, she (as an adult) can not read or write. She graduated High School with a special diploma and did everything her teachers told her through the years. She started working when she was 16. She tries very hard at her jobs and does the best she can. She is not a loser but she is not treated fairly. She is paid less than anyone and works just as hard. She can not go to college because she is unable to do the things most people have the ability to do. When someone

1024 x 768 on a 20" crt because the LCD isn't worth a crap only two years old and crapped out already but the old crt is still going strong. I plugged her back in last month, (thank goodness I didn't sell or give it away). The case is cracked on top right side cause hubby bumped it on the closet door and kinda dropped it (that was how he put it) as I was crying. But we plugged her in and everything works great. By the way, this is a ViewSonic and I have had several sizes but they all worked grea

I want to make al of my windowblinds more transparent, can this be done? If so how? Many have letters that are black and can't be seen, I want also to see thru them because so many submitted would look great that way on my computer. Thanks for the answers I am sure I will receive. You all are so great with helping others.

I don't know myself, I purchased cursorXP and Windowblinds separately. You might want to ask the question in a different way so one of our heros looks to help. The question is "I Spent $50.00 and whats included?" that will get their attention and I hope they give you the answer you were looking for. Good Luck and welcome onboard.

Maybe then they can sell stuff that really works. Have a 19 inch flat panel monitor dated 12/2005 that isn't working, turn it on and it turns back off. Read online that there seems to be a problem with this model in general. Glad I never bought the computer itself from gateway, who knows who would have built it. Appears that you have to contact one company just to find out who built the one I have and serial number will determine that. Yuk.....And the old crappy, heavy, ugly old monitor just kee

If your dial up is that bad, you need a change. I can't go without cable so why would I go with dial up? I think my computer needs are worth 25 bucks a month. Ofcourse bending over the table wouldn't do my back much good. Now angle that thing up a bit and that would be great.

oh yea, and boXXi, starkers, mrs. starkers, all get a shout out from me today too. Being a member since 2001 and knowing that I have not been very good at looking beyond the submission pictures sometimes makes me go to their sites more now to look at everything that person has published. I think sometimes we just look at the small picture and don't get a true feel for what this person has to offer. I hope more of us do the same, you truely get a genuine feel for the artistry of these peoples wor

Sometimes I just can't believe I am able to belong to such a wonderful site. To view the works of such talented people just freaks me out. Then and just then I think, I have this stuff on my computer, friends see this, cursors and walls just jump out at them every time they see this computer. I am honored to watch these folks get better and better every year. I want to say "Thank You" to all for their hard work. Today is one of those days when I found something new and great. Thanks "spil"

I agree with starkers, those who must or want too will. I also gave it up but thats only because I don't want to rot in jail or pay fines. I don't want to give up friends who sold it to me. I don't really want to eat myself any fatter. I don't want to sit on the couch and watch T.V. till I fall asleep. I don't want to go to the store and spend $30.00 on junk food (for the munchies). I don't want the desktop on my computer to reflect (pot) use and don't know why anyone else would. If the person w

Oh and by the way.... The vacuum cleaner isn't made for just women, neither is the dishwasher, washer, dryer, oven, microwave, sponge, papertowels, any cleaning product, I know this because I am the only one who knows how to start the lawnmower, edger, weedeater, blower. They have their quirks and I did figure out how to use them when you said they were broken. And by the way, I bought a new dvd drive for the computer and installed it, what was so hard about that? I thought yo

If he is dead now you can poke him with a stick, if he isn't poke him anyway cause he's right those are mens rules, wonder why you guys get married in the first place? Just live with other guys? Oh you want to get married, I see... Some of our rules: If you are going to be seen in public with us, then 1. Are you really gonna wear that? Did you look in the mirror? O.K. then I will just wear my P.J.s, not wear make-up, or comb my hair, I hope none of your friends

Congrats: I can't say I have done that. I am not the only one here, but thats what makes it most difficult. I have cut back alot but it is really hard and I give credit where it is due. I can go about 6 hours and then it kicks in and then I kick it out with a puff or two. Trying... but not happening yet. I hope to do better once the weather turns here. Windows open and all that but too hot right now.

ahoy Starkers, Very good of you to remember the grandkids, here too, lucky for me only one and she is now 19 months. It's crazy I babysit with grandpa daily for this little one and sometimes more than I can take. 12 hours of anything to do in a day is a long time. Plus run behind and clean up toys, all that bending and all. I might as well be crawling on my knees all day like a monitor lizard, get that belly to the ground now folks and get back up, oh yeah, feel the burn. Geez. Bad back is killi
