OK, I tried another computer and I saw no "purchase" button, but now on Vista 32 it says "can't install because it has to be Windows XP or later" What the . . .?????

I saw today that Stardock changed the Dreams folder in Stardock Central OD to "Purchase" I take offense to this since I already paid for OD and do not intend to be nickel and dimed within a program that I already paid for. This is just cheap and petty for Stardock to resort to. Just my opinion.

I used Nature Studio to make a ripple AVI and converted it to a .dream, but then it wouldn't play when I choose it in dreamscape. What compression type should be used in Nature Studio when making tghe avi?
I wonder when MS will release the final ver of Dreamscene. Hopefully they will be able to cut down even more on resource use, etc.

I'm wondering what program and plug-in effect is the best to use to add water ripple effects to pictures of lakes, etc, to then convert to a reasonably hi def video for dreams? Any suggestions? Thanks.

This issue is unresolved as of the latest release, at least in Vista. my icons won't chnage using IP no matter what I do or how many times I do it. Any ideas?
What are these "better" editors for reference?
Some of the really nice Dreams posted here are either hampered by a hard jerky restart or too low a resolution for large monitors. It occurred to me that a way to more smoothly transition some of the more active ones such as the volcano and some others would be to simply both quickly fade in and then out and the same speed. There really isn't any other way to avoid the startup jerk unless it is something like water ripples or similar even sort of motion. Anyway just a sugg

Anyone else getting this error? 8800 and 100.64 drivers. It kind of renders DS usless.
my deskscapes icons are not showing the preview pic. Any idea how to reset the preview association?
On a non high end system DS slows things to an unacceptable crawl. I'll have to try it on my fast home system later, but I don't like what I see so far as far as resources eaten. Even with the understanding that this is still a preview, I think this appl will be short lived if this keeps up. Anyone tested resources in window vs full screen?
Doesn't happen in any other Browser on Vista except IE7. It shows and then dissapears until you move the mouse quite frequently and for no apparent reason. Again, only in IE7. Any ideas?

uhh . . they left it out of the ultimate updates list at windows update.
The no see config window issue is a problem on any size widescreen monitor from what I can tell, either a XP insall or a clean Vista RTM install. Same reulst on 3 different computers with 3 different widescreen monitors using ATI and nvidia graphics.
could this be a vid card driver incompatability? I'm using Nvidia card and 97.02 drivers.
Xp SP2. Everything was working fine on the last beta. I even tried uninstalling and installing to a different empty location. This doesn't work at all for me in XP.
My user interface is now blank. No skins, no toolbars, the only menu item that works is language selection. What happened??
