How do the Korx see and communicate?

Okay, this has bugged me ever since I saw previews for Altarian Prophecy. How in the universe do the Korx communicate? How do they see? How do they eat? Their face, uh, lacks eyes and a mouth. So...do they communicate through sign language? Psychically? Do they see in infrared or something? Do they give off soundwaves like a bat? What do they eat and how do they eat it? Do they have mouths on their hands or something? I somehow imagine them having a thin membrane where we'd think their mouth should be which excretes an acid which breaks down food, which then is sucked through the membrane...

I'm taking this way too seriously, aren't I? >>;

Ok here is my shot at explaining the lack of eyes and a mouth:

Korx are born with eyes and a mouth like any other species however when a Korx becomes rich and successful he sells his eyes and mouth (a Drengin delicacy) and has them replaced with a computer neural interface (which would allow communication of a sort). This way the successful Korx can continue to generate profit without visual distractions and is feed with an IV drip so lunch breaks are no longer necessary. The need for vision and a mouth are seen as crutches which only the poor need rely on.
