Bummer...my spoofstick plugin doesn't work with this new update

yeah, I'm holding off just a while...Clusty won't work with it.

I just tried it with clusty and it worked. Didn't give any incompatability warnings when I downloaded it.

Web, did you check out the home page of the author to spoof stick? When I updated to 1.5.0 it wasn't compatable either and he had a version on his homepage that was, before Fire Fox did.

kona0197, your tenacity in interjecting your 'IE is best' comments is very impressive.. ...what do you think all those window updates are? those things you have to download several times a month?...any windows update that states 'your computer could be compromised by a remote user' (practically every windows update) is a 'new' release of IE, fixing it's latest vulnerability..please, you insult our intelligence

i have used FF for three years, and am completey happy with it..since i made the change i have never had any spyware or adware, which was not the case when i used IE...i have nothing against IE, i just think FF is better

many people switch to FF from IE by their own choice...very few ever switch back...i totally respect your love of IE, and if it works for you, then great, keep using it....please respect our love of FF

1.5.0.1? Jeez, WTH with the version number?

I am eagerly awaiting version 1.5.1.4.3.7.4.3.6.8.9.5.3.2.5. Eh, major.minor.bugfix. Come on guys.

look at startdocks versions :-

windowblinds - 5.00[b].011
skinstudio - 5.00.048
windowsFX - 2.20c[b].003

and so on and so on....hardly a major cause of concern for all stardocks customers

and don't we all enjoy getting as many updates to stardocks software as we can...we complain like crazy that rightclick, OB etc never get updated ...getting a new FF version is a treat

I never said IE was better in this thread.

Whatever. Your over stating that. MS dosen't release updates every month.

since i made the change i have never had any spyware or adware

I have rarely gotten spyware, adware or viri while using IE.

Actually, Microsoft does pretty much release updates every month. And quite honestly, from using IE7, Internet Explorer isn't really improving.
Yeah well keep in mind IE7 is beta software. It will improve. However I check the MS update site often and I don't see updates every month.

Thats pretty much a fact, actually once a month an update for the Malicious Software Removal tool is made available for DL...

*Sighs* LiquidGuru, for sanities sake quit talking to walls, they never reply (because they are walls) and it is much easier to simply pass by them and allow them to remain rooted where they are since to move one requires more work than it's worth..LoL

Just advice from someone that used to have the same issue....

you're right Double Zero, no more walls...i'll go lie back down in my hammock and chill....

Kona, I have tried to be nice, I really have... but cmon, enough of your crap.
Anytime a thread mentions the word Firefox, you poke your nose in it and make some kind of smart alek remark.
Yes, I'm using FF now as opposed to Maxthon or Avant. Would I swear eternal loyalty to FF..No I wouldn't. (just so you know where I stand).
No one appreciates your input anymore on this topic. It is painfully obvious that all you are trying to do is instigate trouble. Please... find a better hobby okay.

Phoon I'm really not trying to start trouble here. I'm just expressing some opinions. I really don't care what people use I'm just trying to point out that IE isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Use what you like I don't care.

I do agree with you on that one.
But I still doubt your motives...

Well use what you like I guess. I also use Firefox while browsing in Linux.

Let's see.  Firefox which is constantly updated to fix and improve, or IE which never gets updated.  Yeah Kona, you are right.
