titlebar problems

Hello,

I have a two problem with Windowsblinds 5 and skins.

1) I have programs (ultramon, Actualtools title buttons) which add buttons to the titlebar. I have the problem that I can’t see the new added buttons with some or most of the skins (DogmaX$, Blister…). There are only the system buttons (minimize, close ..) but the new buttons are not shown. With the skin Longhorn Slate there are no problems. I believe that the buttons exists because I can click the buttons but I don’t see the buttons.

2) It's normal that the button minimize in the title bar has the effect that the program goes to the tray and not to the taskbar. Many of the skins have this "problem"?

Applications which add additional buttons to the titlebar are not compatible with WB per pixel skins which is why they are not showing up.  Clicking where they should be usually works as you have discovered.  Non per pixel skins such as Longhorn Slate do work with those apps which add custom buttons.

WB can minimize windows to the system tray and this can be set one of 2 ways.  1) in wbconfig user overrides there is an option to make it always do that, or 2) the skin can set this.  However no per pixel skins can set this, so I am assuming your issue is due to 1.
