Uploading ".png" files.

Over the last year or so I uploaded a few png's for use on shortcuts in Objectdock, previously I put them under the "Misc/Icons" section with no problem but I just created a new one the other day I have been told to upload them to the Objectdock section, thats not a problem but the fact that it only wants ".odock" files is a problem as the ".png" files I want to upload I put into ".zip" files.

If anyone could provide a link or info on how I should convert 3 ".png" files into 1 ".odock" file it would be very helpful.

isn't .odock just a form of .zip?

zip them and rename the extension to .odock?

Well, what I do when uploading, is zip them all in one folder..then, label like so. name of file.zip.odock

Remeber to select Icons under category in OD

Cheers guys, once I told it to open with Winzip it worked, thanks again.

On another note, I have about eight or ten other ".png" files for different games/devices that are available through the "Icons/Misc" section, when I went to move them by using the "Update" feature it wont let me switch that catagory, only within the Icons directory.

Should I just leave those ones where they are or re-upload them again?

The reason why you were told to upload them in object doeck is because they're in .png format. You can only upload in misc/icons if they are in .ico file format. If that helps you any in where to upload them to.

I would say if they .png I'd re-upload them object dock, just to keep within the guidelines
