Windowblinds Not Working With MCE2005

Just purchased Windowblinds 5 yesterday and it does not appear to work with Windows Media Center Edition 2005. I have an HP m7250n Media Center desktop with an Nvidia 6800GS video card. After installing windowblinds 5 and rebooting I tried loading a skin. It appeared to load, but the Start button, task bar, and all windows changed to the old "windows 95" look. I tried several skins and none worked.

Has anyone else had this problem with Windows Media Center?

I am having the same problem. I just purchased it yesterday and it isn't skinning properly. I've got a support request in. I'll let you know what the response is, if I ever get one.

open WB configuration, click 'system information' on the left and then copy all the info that shows up and paste it here

WB5 is fully skinning MCE2005 without any issues on my Fujitsu Lifebook purchased 12/05. So it is probably a particular combination of hardware/software issues specific to the affected rigs; it's definitely not an incompatibility with the OS per se. FWIW.
