Strange Stuff

Help. After I ran Crap Cleaner Objectdock Pro is now broke. It will only appear behind the task bar and won't remember any changes made or new dock created. I un-installed and re-installed but it will not work. Now the stange part is that the free version of Objectdock works fine. Does anybody have any ideas ???? Thanks for any help.

I ran into this when I ran System Mechanic's Junk Cleaner. I had to reinstall and it was fine. I have CCleaner, and have never had a problem with it. Did you click 'yes' on CCleaner, after it scanned for problems, when it asked if you wanted to make a registry back-up? If you did, all you should have to do is restore it, without having to do an entire system restore.

I did the restore of the reg but that did not work, but it got me thinking. I checked the user file store location in documents and settings. I noticed that the Objectdock setting were not hidden but the Objectdock Pro setting was hidden. I made it visible and all is well now. I have not idea what caused this, but that seems to have fixed it. Thanks for getting me thinking....

Thanks for reminder re CCleaner-- I forgot about it. Maybe good time to run it...
