Wincustomize subscription for windowsblind

HI,

I have purchased windowsblinds and registerd in the stardock.net and downloaded the stardock central and registered my windows blind version. this means that i am a starddock customer. then as in the wincustomize subscriber section, i am a subscriber to the wincustomize. But when i try to download a skin it shows i can only download 20MB not more than that..why is the limitation. as in the subscription page they say download is unlimted for stardock current customers. why it is not being applied? am i missing something ?

Click the My Account tab here and then click on the Cross Reference with your Stardock Account link. Follow the instructions & relaunch WinCustomize.

If you've done that already, not sure what the glitch is.

In addition to Daiwa's advice to "cross reference your Stardock Account with WC, the new download rules may have gone into effect. The new download rules state that you will get unlimited downloads of skins for your piece of software (as many blinds for WindowBlinds, as many Icons for Icon Packager, etc) but you will be limited to a set amount in any other category if you did not purchase that product (ie: you bought WindowBlinds so you can download as many skins/blinds as you want, but you will be limited to a set amount of other content such as Icon Packages, Cursors, DesktopX, etc). This download limit was a proposal to encourage either more purchases of Stardock software or for people to purchase a WinCustomize subscription (if you get Object Desktop Network or a WC subscription, you can download unlimited amounts of any category offered.).

rbmanian stated that they had bought WC sub, so it's prolly the "cross reference your SD Account with WC" thingy. Be nice to see if rbmanian's troubles are solved (referring to the download limitation). Happy skinning, if so!

Purchasing WindowBlinds does not make you a WC subscriber. You're listed as a Current Customer, so Cross-Referencing is not necessary. As DigitalDanes says, things are changing with download caps, but don't worry......... you'll get all the WindowBlinds skins you want.

Of course for $19.99 you can get all the skins you want

I only recently subscribed to WC but have been an ODNT subscriber for several years & cross-refereced back when that was first implemented. Cross-referencing was suggested even without a WC subscription, just to be sure the appropriate "permissions" were set (at least so I thought).

Cross-referencing is for those folks that purchase products, and/or subscribtions, with a different email address than the one used to logon to WC. The reason I said it he didn't need to cross reference was because the site knows who he is....(shows as currnect customer in profile)
