I need a little direction.

O.K. kids, I'm a total cherry in this theater. Let's just say I don't know crap, from crap, about crap! So I'm gonna need all the information I can squeeze out of`ya, regardless of how remedial it may seem. Such as: Where should I save various components(cursors,icons,etc..)that I want to take the place of my default components.?, Is there a working tutorial program out there that can hold my hand and walk my retarded ass through it like I'm in the 3rd grade. So far I've got DesktopX, WindowBlinds, SkinStudio, and Object Desktop. I apprecite any and all help ya'll can tolerate to give, and in advance thanx for your time

Very Sorry!! I can't even remember if I responded to everyone's help. I've got two brain cells left......one of them is lost, and the other one is busy trying to find him!! I've just been real busy at the lab(work) and haven't had much of a chance to follow up on everyone's suggestions, but I will soon. Again.....Thank`Ya.
