Worked for a while

I really am confused

from Stardock Forums

I am using your window blinds for a while it worked fine till one day when i started up my laptop it could not load . i tried many times to reinstall it but everytime my windows load it would give me this error. I am very upset because your product is very good hope u guys can help me out . this is the error :

I assume you are using the shareware version. That means you try it and then if you like it you buy it.

does this apply to those of us who bought object desktop and let our subscriptions lapse?... i too have been getting this error as of last few days and can no longer run WB.(my sub ran out and havent renwed it yet).. i thought when you purchased a sub .. you got to keep the build you had at the time of expireing. so in my case shouldnt i still have full use of the WB build i had installed at the time of my subscriptions lapse? everything elsae works ...IP, DX, etc...

HG Eliminator: Did your subscription run out before November 29th?

The beta versions of WB5 had timeouts which stopped them working on the 1st January.

i cant remember the exact date .. but ok thats prolly the problem then..i always ran the beta versions...so thats prolly it.. how can i get the release build available at the time ?... it will be another week or 2 before my exhuberant christmas/moving credit card charges are down enough to fit a resubscription on them......typically i buy the sub when it runs out but we moved to CA 2 weeks before christmas and every things been in an uproar...

ok yeh that was it .... i scrounged around through my credit cards til i found one with room....ran the updates in SDC and everything is back up and running...
