Large Preview Problem

For the past month, whenever I try to preview a skin in the library, either via the wincustomize browser or SDCentral, all I get is an empty pop-up window. Is there a separate program that is used to do the previewing that I need to tell my pop-up blocker about? Or is something else going wrong.

TIA

do a search for ZA or Zone Alarm = some of the posts list the sites you need to allow

this is from a Zone Alarm post, but allowing pop ups from these sites might help

www.wincustomize.com 66.28.242.218
images.stardockcentral.net 66.54.81.54
images.stardock.com 66.54.81.60
skins3.wincustomize.com 66.28.242.211

Enable all, except 3rd party cookies and Private header.

In Options/Ad Blocking, allow all in each site entry.

Thanks, Sir Bircher....did what you said, made the changes to ZA, but unfortunately the problem remains. WC Browser and SDCentral still give me empty popups with the heading: SkinName Preview. Strangely, if I log onto Wincustomize.com using Firefox, large previews are not a problem. Somehow I get the feeling that the WCBrowser and SDCentral are hooking and opening a file preview program that doesn't know what it is doing. Any other ideas?? TIA.

Look in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock and see if ODZip.dll is there.

Good. What version of ZA?

It's 737, but that's OK....go to Program Control/ Programs scroll down to IE, right click to Options, un-check Privacy, apply. Try WC Browser again.

Still no joy in Mudville. Not even the little red X indicating there is a graphic back there somewhere. Any more ideas? TIA

Yeah...add this to Programs with Trusted and Internet Access C:\Program Files\Stardock\WinCustomize\SkinBrowser\preview.exe. Open WC Browser and in settings tick 'Double click Skin File to View Large Preview Image' and 'Display Large Images in Separate Window'

I'm having the same type proble...I can't see any of the previews for any of the bootskins, etc. I followed all of the suggestions but no joy...I remember it working once before. Perhaps I could try with ZA completely disabled. Brent

Hmm. Found four occurrences of preview.exe in the ZA program permissions, one from an old directory system which I deleted, and 3 from different locations in current SD/WC setups....though one of the three is an older version.
