Though I've just submited a few icons to the ObjectDock skin area, I've been a visiter and registered user of WC for a long time. One thing easy to see is, there are too many icons for the "famous" programs, like Photoshop, Winamp, WMP... As I know, a lot of people use many other programs on their PC, and they can't find their OD icons anywhere, as well as they do not know how to create one themselves (as in my case before).
So, why don't we have an "open area" for those OD users to request for their favorite programs' icons? And those who can use graphical apps can create them. It's also a chance to improve your skills isn't it ?
I'll be the first... Any one need an icon? You can send me a screenshot of the origin icon, and I'll try to make it an OD one (128, 256, in PNG or ICO...).
Not so good in graphik, so I need the help from the pro gd!

Very nice Sir, hope it doesn't take too long in moderation and thankyou for your work, it looks a hell of alot better than the other one and I am very fond of the outer glow effect (how did you know)

I want to learn how to do the script to make the icons work please and I happen to be one of those persons who never took computer course.

Hi everyone, I have one request that consists of many.

First of all, I am trying to create a Next-Generation, 3-Dimensional desktop, something that I will hopefully consider my own concept of "Windows7/Vienna". But, in order to realize this, I will need some kickass icons. Po has taken the first step in an icon pack that I would LOVE to see. If someone could create more icons for other applications that look like his, I would be VERY happy and I would be most grateful. Here is what I need:

Computer
Firefox
Paint.NET
Notepad
Yahoo! Messenger
Windows Movie Maker
Windows Photo Gallery
Windows Calendar
Control Panel
User/Documents
Recycle Bin
General Folders
Anything else that would fit the theme and would be used commonly by many users

Here is the concept, I hate Vista My Documents by Po.

Armbut, I just had some surgery this past Friday, but once I am better I will be back on those icons. I'm glad you liked them so much. That makes it all the more fun for me when I am doing them.

Thanks a lot Po' Smedley. I should have asked you instead of the entire community, and I am sorry for that. They are VERY nice icons in my book, and I would LOVE to see more, but not until your better, good luck with the recovery.

as far as "doin' the script that make icons work" You will need to determine which program you are going to use. Choices include:
ObjectDock WWW Link which, I believe, most of these icons are created for...and
Icon Packager WWW Link which changes all icons at once to match a certain theme...look over the pages I linked to and see which will work best for you...any questions? just let me know
