Though I've just submited a few icons to the ObjectDock skin area, I've been a visiter and registered user of WC for a long time. One thing easy to see is, there are too many icons for the "famous" programs, like Photoshop, Winamp, WMP... As I know, a lot of people use many other programs on their PC, and they can't find their OD icons anywhere, as well as they do not know how to create one themselves (as in my case before).
So, why don't we have an "open area" for those OD users to request for their favorite programs' icons? And those who can use graphical apps can create them. It's also a chance to improve your skills isn't it ?
I'll be the first... Any one need an icon? You can send me a screenshot of the origin icon, and I'll try to make it an OD one (128, 256, in PNG or ICO...).
Not so good in graphik, so I need the help from the pro gd!

Yup.
I went through the misc icons. But couldnt find any usefull.
But if some of you know some links for those kind of icons, feel free to tell me.

Reasons not to exile me...

1. Skinhit would get lonely. (He can't quit me)

2. There would be no one to keep the Troll in line.

4. I may not have top downloads in anything, but I do keep things interesting.

5. I have these pictures of you....What exactly is the deal with the Crisco and the ductape and how much booze does it take to get a monkey to do that?

OMG, has the monkey-lizard had a "tail-ectomy" ??

What will the celebrity tabloids say ?! It's a shame when people feel they need to give in to peer pressure and change their appearance, to fit in with the "cool" crowd.

Maybe if we all "chip in" a little $$ we can get him a new prosthetic tail, or perhaps a state-of-the-art bionic one !!

hey everyone. i've been out of the icon scene for a little, and i'm glad to see this thread is still going.

one thing i haven't seen on WinCustomize is a set for the OpenOffice suite. that would be really nice!

Hi,

one (stupid) question, but for a newbie a miracle. How do i upload an image here?
When i click on insert image, i only get the popup where i can fill in a url, but no opportunity to browse through my directory. How u guys do this.

Hey OrdesI, the upload picture only applies to pictures hosted on another site, like photobucket or the like. you can't actually upload pics from your computer directly

OrdesI, to include pictures in your posting try this...

First...go to Image Shack
You can browse for the pic you wanna post from your PC. Click on 'Host It'. Let it grab the pic. The next page will show the pic with a crapload of options on how to post it. I always use the bottom one 'Direct Link' and copy the url. Then, in the forum here, click on the little image icon (Mountain and orange sun) and post the link in the window that will pop up. I have had no luck trying to grab an image for imageshack right from a sight with the URL link. I always download the image to my PC and then browse for it there from imageshack.

hi, i would like to request an icon 256x256 preferred of BT Engine, the default one is really bad .. im using a dark black wallpaper... so an icon that matches that would be cool Also for .. GTA San Andreas + Counter-strike Source also 256 x 256 size. Thanks for your help
