Lost Taskbar

Huh?

Okay just yesterday i lost my taskbar. I dont know what happened. I restarted my PC and all of a sudden BAM. It disappears. This is a full legit copy of WB%. It doesnt matter what skin i use. Here is a screenie to show you what i mean

As you see there is no taskbar/startbar. I can get the Start Menu up but nothing is down there. Can someone advise on what is going on. Could it be a conflict with the new Windows Live Messenger Beta? It did happen when i first got the WLM Beta. It just started yesterday. It really isnt that big of a deal. It does get kinda annoying. But i know how to work without it but would rather not. Any adive would be appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure it's not hidden. Tap the Windows key to bring up the start menu.
Right click and empty part and choose Properties. Uncheck the "lock", Uncheck the "auto-hide", check the "Keep toolbar on top"

Any love?

It sounds like its been hidden by something like ObjectDock or ObjectBar.

Try changing the Taskbar & Startmenu properties from control panel.

BTW why does your webbrowser have no frames?

@Zubaz- The screenie shows what happens when i hit the Windows Key. If i right click it just goes to the windows behind it and makes it active again. If i do the unhide and always on top it just shows an empty space there.

@Neil- I checked the ObejectDock settings and it doesnt have my Startbar/taskbar hidden. The settings are what i have always used with WB, including WB% Beta, and this is the first time i came across this. As for the browser i noticed that too when i too the screenie. The frame came back when i clicked on the window to make it active. Why it did that i dont know.

So am i gonna have to uninstall WB5 and re-install it to see if this works itself out? Or have i found a new bug?

Well just an update. For those that come across this issue. Un-install WB5 thru Stardock Central. Restart. Re-install WB5. I had to reset a couple extra times to get my WLM Beta to get active again but it is all back to normal.

To fix this I just went into objectdock and unchecked 'hide taskbar' which had rechecked itself after a crash I guess.

Then went here: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/taskbarplus!.htm

Just click the 'missing taskbar' link. Saves uninstalling and reinstalling WB5.
