I have multiplicty on my laptop. When I leave multiplicity running when I put the laptop to standby mode, I notice that if I wait a few hours before I try to turn it back on, it takes a long time (2 minutes or so) to come out of standby. When I unload multiplicity before I put it on standby, it wakes up very quickly (a few seconds). But if I leave multiplicity on and then go to standby but in just a few minutes wake up the laptop again, it comes up pretty quickly. It's almost as if it's related to how long the laptop was in standby mode. It doesn't make any sense but that's what it seems like. So I'm just unloading it for now.
Another strange thing. If I unload the multiplicity program, I can still connect to it from my main computer. I just can't paste-and-copy. Strange. So there seems to be two processes running. One is responsible for pasting and copying from the clipboard and the other is the actual keyboard and mouse control. So if I disable the copy-and-paste module, I don't have the slow wakeup problem.
I hope this helps get this behavior fixed.
