Jumpy Pages In Firefox

Using latest version of Firefox 1.5.
Using WindowBlinds5_enhanced.exe

Loaded web pages jump up and down a 16th of an inch or so, verticaly.

Also, is there a search function in this forum?
Might be right in front of my eyes but I'm missing it somehow. Thanks.

Search is on left of page, Browse Site panel.
The FireFox jumping pages is thought to be related to either FF theme you are using or extensions that you have installed. Since this is a problem I have not encountered I can't suggest which may cause this.
On other threads suggestion to stop jump are min then max window, reload tab are a couple that come to mind.

A quick and easy fix to keep FF from jumping around, is to add a button to your Bookmarks Toolbar folder. All ya need is one.

Works like a charm every time

Thanks Morpheous.

And, I'm sorry, I still don't see a search function to the left... but thanks for the help Cavan.

JMS44; AHH, at Stardock forums there is no search, your post also shows on Wincustomize forums, where there is a search.

No problem. It happened to me no matter what version I was using, default theme,...or otherwise. Once I removed the initial Bookmark buttons, some themes would start jumping around. Which lead me to the conclusion that it may not be the theme, but how FF handles the Bookmark Toolbar.

I'll see what the FF forums have to say about this.

It's a bug with the toolbar. You can either add a button, or hide the bar in your options. This is supposed to be fixed for the 1.8 release.
