System tray troubles...

I have sdmcp.exe running and both "mcp notification area support" and "smart start" enabled in SDC. I have the latest build of ObjectDock Plus 1.2 installed and Object Desktop. Neither ObjectBar nor ObjectDock will display any system tray items. Searching the forums I note that trayserver.exe may be a factor in this and I can confirm that it does not exist on my system. I've pulled my hair out having SDC uninstall/reinstall the various components and rebooting with no luck.

1. Do I need trayserver.exe?

2. Any thoughts as to anything else that may be causing this?
