Suggestions/Ideas/minor problems part 2

ok, after playing beta 4d here are some more minor things i have noticed, if some things i mention already exist or have been soled and i just didn't care to look that hard, please tell me.

Planetary Stuff
I find that my governor does not start upgrading as soon as i acquire a previously owned system, whether cultarally, militarily, or through surrender. =/

where'd the ship governor go???

whats the diff between the two techs u can use to upgrade an orange or red square? also, when they are complete, they don't disappear like in 4C, i hae to demolish them first

skull and crossbones, problem in GC1 as well, it never went away even if i culturally reconquer the area

when i autolaunch troop transports (never used the feature in GC1) do they launch full or the default half?

can we get a global "reset focus" button, eg, im focusing on social in 3 planets and military in two, etc, rather than go through all of them and turn them off, button to do that for me?

can we distribute food amongst all the planets of my empire, eg i have a class 5 with a food bonus sector, obviously don't have enough room to build morale structures and all the other necessities, but if i could distribute food throughout my empire, i could use that resource more effectively.
I think this is a really good idea because it makes the game more realistic. In the US, there are the farming areas of the mid to Midwest and the manufacturing areas of the Northeast and the west to some degree. U see what i mean?

when stealing enemy tech, the "X research perfected" pops up first, then the "u have stolen tech X" kinda anticlimactic eh?

PLEASE give me more morale bonus for higher planet quality! i have a class 25 and it only gives me 10%???


BTW like the planetary assault, the eye candy is way better than GC1's , however, on the advantage factor, its always equal no matter what tactics i am using eg 8v8 or 4v4. this never refelcts the battle, but its still inconsistent.

Shipyard

can we get a symitrize button? eg, i place a wing on one side and i press the button and presto! a wing appears on the corresponding hardpoint on the opposite side.

Are there going to be good/evil modules? eg for good u would get heal and defense booster modules and for eil u would get hitpoint sucker and defense reducer, basically the same abilities that the paladin, sovvy, vamp, and wraith came with in GC

ok, when i said minor errors i lied. granted, i can now save ship designs and upgrade them later, but when i do, the parts pics don't display the right pic for the "extras" whenever i try to remove old tech (to replace w/ new), it crashes, whenever i try to write over the old design, it crashes.

can we get a "copy" button so we can make a base hull, save, then copy and put on different tech, eg make a armor/driver and a shield/beam version of the same ship, like the hydrans in SFC if u ever played that, they had one design that could either be armed w/ hellbore or fusion beam

constructors and freightorsa, why do they all look like blank human cargo hulls?

Miscelleneous

wel u gave us a sexy fembot to tell us of new tech perfections, can i get a sexy female ensign to tell me i can't go that far................. with my ships? whatever, jus make it diff than GC1?

Refresh mini map button,

good evil displays like in GC1? dunno, morality doesn't seem to make much of a diff in GC2 besides the fac tthat the Altarisn hate u if ur naughty

what about bringing back the sector influence meter, i wanna noe i an embassy will do it, or if i need to build a starbas

on the minimap, could u color the planets to their owner? i don't noe if thats my planet or the drengins in my culture sphere.

on the reace relations window (whos trading, at war, allied, etc w/ who) if u click the race logo hae that transfer you to that races stats page and of course allows you to alk to them if you want to. sometimes i find out that a friend of mine is at war accidentally, if i'd known earlier i would have sent ships and money

could you organize starbase modules by type like in GC1? having to search through military and production boosties to find a resource harvester module is annoying

ok i lied again about minor bugs, the game crashes like CRAZY status when i'm trying to start a new campaign, if i hit ctrl + N even once at times the game crashes, although usually it takes 2 to 4, even if i go indirectly through the main menu, even if i don't touch map settings at all and all i do is hit done in the tech and Planetary window

alright that is my two cents. i didn't really include much good stuff about the game up there so if anybody of consequence is reading this, GC2 is coming along great, even as it stands right now, i would never go back to GC1. I may include a lot of minute stuff, but i think making a game is like cleaning ur room, picking up one sock may not do much, but when you pick up one sock, then a pair of boxers, throw away an old magazine, put ur books back in teh book case, cds in the rack, etc, etc, ur room is clean. same with a game, its a bunch of little things that conribute to greater overall picture when you stand back and look at it.
