WB 4 Skins Not Showing in WB 5 Skins List

I'm using WB 5.0.1. Most things seem to be working fine, although clicking on the Appearance tab in Display applet causes an exception, which I can document if needed. My big problem is that my installed skins don't show up in WB 5 previews, even skins I've newly installed since this latest version of WB 5. They DO get installed, however, and can be loaded as the current skin by double clicking on the .WBA file and clicking on the 'load this skin' popup. Any suggestions? The skins are still in the same WindowBlinds folder as before, which is the WB 5 folder. I uninstalled WB 4 using SDC before installing WB 5. I haven't seen any other posts on this specific topic, although I searched on WinCustomize.

Open WBConfig & press rebuild the skin list button.

Thanks, but clicking the Rebuild button doesn't help. I've tried it about 6 times. The window refreshes but the only two skins that show are Windows XP and Classic.

We have had a couple of reports of this.  What other apps do you have installed?

Neil,

Not sure if you're referring to the exception message I mentioned or to the non-appearance of my installed skins in the WB 5 config. I'll address the latter.

I've got 1,000's of apps installed, but my GUI apps besides WB are Sysmetrix, Rainlendar, CursorXP; Additionally, the following are always running: xplorer2 filemgr, Slickedit 10, X1, 4NT cmd window, BVRP FaxTools, OpenOffice 1.5 or 2.0, Process Explorer, Antivir Classic w/ AVGuard, WordWeb 5, Mozilla 1.7.12, Diskeeper 8. XP Home SP2 is installed.

I saw a suggestion on the board that involves a long process of installing WB 5 after deleting the OD\WindowBlinds folder etc. and erasing any remaining WB 4.6 files before proceeding. I have a feeling that might work here and I might try it if I'm feeling motivated enough. Tks. Any additional help is welcome.
