For the skins, you should have StealthOS, Aura, 5imple (alpha), and Vista included with WB5 (4.99 rc).

Have you looked in the "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds" folder to see if there are skin folders existing there?

Have you clicked the "Rebuild list" in the WB config.?

Which skin browser are you referring to?

Can you download content via a common Web Browser (IE, Firefox, Opera, etc.)?

Some clarification would help people assist you.

Note - I wrote a mini tutorial on installing Object Desktop which may or may not be of use to you http://corkyo.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?SID=5463&AID=83625

Well, there's not much I have read in the forums that gives a definitive fix for this. But, This link #14 has one work-around. It's a doozy. Uninstall all OD components, then do what #14 lists, Then re-install. Worked for me, and is better than a clean OS install. Hope you get on track. I'd email Stardock sales@stardock.com before doing anything though, they may have come up with something since that thread. Good luck!

Corky, he's got that nasty Data Source error...

Whenever I run accross this data error (and it happened twice so far, usually if I try to delet a skin), I usually uninstall WB > reboot > manually delete all files (leave the folders) in the WB folder and reinstall WB through SDC. After another reboot, my skins are all back where they are supposed to be.

My link was either taken out or didn't make it. If it was taken out, I wouldn't mind a note saying so. (edited for last sentence added)

Scorpio,

If you were edited, a mod/admin would leave a note...........must not have taken.
