Bootskin 1.05a problem

Norton Ghost does not provide any system security that I am aware of. It only provides the option to backup and restore file images. Because of this, I doubt Norton Ghost is the cause of your issues. Do you have any other Symantec software installed?

Whatever the program that would be preventing access, you should be able to change a setting in the program to override this obviously unsolicited protection.

javascript:editor_insertHTML('PageTheme__Right__ctl0__ucCommentForm_comments_txtBody',' '), but when i tried to change my bootskin with another program (Tune up Utilities to be precise), it said that it's not possible to change bootskin because Northon Ghost somehow stops changed bootskin from being aplied.
I also checked in Event Viewer when I spotted that the Bootskin isn't functioning properly, and it said that "boot-start or system-start driver (BootScreen)failed to load." Error ID: 7026 in Event Viewer is classified as unknown, so I still can't exactly pinpoint the cause of my problem.
BTW, I agree that Northon AV is piece of BLOATWARE that can only make CPU feel like good old x286 (with NO Antivirus-trojan persistence whatsoever)...
Instead I use Zone Alarm PRO, Avast, Spybot S&D, AdAware, Spyware Blaster, Ewido Security Suite , A-squared antitrojan, Microsoft Antispyware Beta, javascript:editor_insertHTML('PageTheme__Right__ctl0__ucCommentForm_comments_txtBody',' ')
javascript:editor_insertHTML('PageTheme__Right__ctl0__ucCommentForm_comments_txtBody',' ')and it all functions just fine, and none of them is trying to stop Bootskin from loading, I'm shure of that because I configured and checked them manually.

I would be really gratefull to anyone who could offer me some solution that doesn't include removing either Bootskin nor Northon Ghost from my system..

Have you tried the earlier versions? I don't know if it would help, but you never know.
