Need reading material

from Stardock Forums
All this desktopX stuff LOOKS great but I'm getting frustrated. I would like to be able to read about the details of desktopX before asking questions.

Is there a forum search? I'm sure the same questions get answered all the time. I maybe overlooking some of this stuff so please be nice.

The search function here exists, but leaves much to be desired, searching only the thread subject line (and how likely are you to find the thread with your answer in it, when it's called "HELP!!!!1!" ?).

Knowing that fact the community here is very tolerant of repeated qustions, I have found, so please don't hesitate to ask. Several of us community members actually enjoy the opportunity help someone.

Thanks for the links.  I looked at them and I saw that F9 and F10 are default keys for hide/unhide opbjects.  This conflicts with other apps I use to actually get work done.  I could not find where these defaults are located so that I could change them.


Strange thing, I thought I was able to search the forums but now I do not have any search box.  Yes, I looked in the lower left but there is nothing.  I selected a catagory thinking that would do it but its not there.  I tried both Mozilla and IE explorerer.  Bizar!

It's to train us to write informative, but concise subjects.

Several of us community members actually enjoy the opportunity help someone.

Sorry, I did not realize you were on Stardock forums as opposed to WinCustomize forums.


My reference was to the WC forum search functions.


No current search for Stardock forums that I know of.
