By "running indicators" do you mean the taskbar or system tray? There is unfortunately not a gui setting for this option, but you may add this functionality by doing the following:
- Hold the Windows key and press "R"
- Copy/Paste "%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus" and press enter
- Open CurrentTheme.ini with notepad or your favorite raw text editor (ie NOT Word)
- Scroll down until you find the tab you want to give this functionality:
- Key for [SettingsX-TabY]
- X - Dock Number
- Y - Tab Number
- Add the line: "Type=SystemTray" or "Type=Taskbar" depending on your preference
For example, in the default tabbed dock, the "Tray" tab has the following lines in CurrentTheme.ini:
[Settings2-Tab7]
Group7EntryCount=0
cref=-8388353
Name=Tray
Style=backgrounds\standard\background.ini
dontColor=0
Type=SystemTray

I hadn't seen that
So the official word is, "You can add taskbar/systray tabs, but just can't modify existing tabs to include this functionality through the gui." Thanks Hankers.

and no, there doesn't appear to be a setting for this on tabbed docks....
