AIW 9800 pro / can't view TV

I loaded DesktopX for the first time and used the "no frils" version desktop. No problems there except when I open My ATI All-In-Wonder T.V. veiwer. I get good sound but a black picture. Has anybody run into this problem? Any fixes? ATI's site helps to advertise DesktopX but does not report any driver Issues. For what its worth I am using Catalyst ver. 4.5 and Multimedia Center ver. 9.0

I think this might have something to do with the layering.  Does the video preview run fine when DesktopX is unloaded?

Do you have a multiple monitor setup? Only the primary display will show the overlay.

Yes I can watch T.V. when DesktopX is unloaded. It works fine under WindowBlinds. I do not have a multiple monitor setup.

Well I started with a new desktop, not the provided Classic desktop, and started destopx. Hey, the T.V. viewer works!

Now when I add objects, the viewer doesn't work again. I'll experiment and learn.
