Widgets Lost

Just installed DesktopX and spent hours arranging the widgets on my desktop. I thought I had the
layout saved but when i tried to reload it the widgets never came back! I clearly don't
understand the concept. When I put my computer into hibernation and then restart it all my widgets
are where I left them (of course) but how do you turn them all off (shutting off widgets while the
computer is running) and then turn them back on where you left them? Aside from F10 to hide them.
I'm new to this so any help is appreciated.

If you are running the widgets as exe's, they most likely have an option that you can set to run at startup. Right click on the widget and select Preferences, the look for a check box. Do this for each widget you want to start up with.

Your widgets should still be in the same place you left them when you restart them.
They should also have ways to close, try right click again if you don't see a button.
But closing more than one at once would be tricky...

You can also use DesktopX to set up themes of widgets...but is more complex.

Thanks for the reply rabidrobot. I'll check the check box! The widget theme sounds like it may be the answer. Still wish there was a big on/off switch though.

If its only a few widgets..I just Right click on each widgets and select close..I use the " Right Click " program so my widget folder is readily available to open. I just click on each widget I want and they remember position they were in when I closed them last.
