Install question for Windows XP power user setting?

Hello,

What's the install procedure? If I install the app as the administrator to the machine, then run it as a power user. There are no skins. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I assume you are referring to WindowBlinds. You will need to be running this application under a user with administrative privileges.

Yes, WindowBlinds. There is no other way around that?

WB should work fine under limited user rights.  It does need to be installed by an administrator though.

Running wbconfig should show up all the skins installed on your PC as WB will not show in display properties under a new user until wbconfig has been run.  This is done to ensure other users are not confused by the additional WB options in display properties.

Is this a multi-user PC? Cuz, I always log on as an admin.

The security for the Power Users group in XP does not get applied like it did in 2000. I believe you will have to give the power users group specific permissions to the applicable folders. What those folders are, THAT is the magic question! You could try giving power users read/write perms to the C drive and allow it to propogate to the subfolders if you wish.

That seem to do the trick! I gave read/write perm to the C drive for that specific user.
