Magnify problem

just installed OD and it looks like something i could use a lot but im having problems. im wanting to use as my main taskbar and to magnify when the mouse rolls over (just like a mac) it doesnt seem to do it though or when it does it stays like that for some time. also where can you get themes i can find docklets but not themes. using sites like wincustomise and deviantART. i read the tutorial which didnt really help. i was able to do what i wanted to achieve and yes i did uninstall it. im also getting a dll/hook error at startup. if anyone can help ill buy you a pint next time i see you.

First of all, do you have ObjectDock, or have you purchased ObjectDock Plus?

Everything OD related is here (at least on WC) https://www.wincustomize.com/Skins.aspx?LibID=29. Use the 'search' box to restrict your list to icons, backgrounds, tabs etc.

Themes are of limited use to download from soemone else since they contain icons (i.e shortcuts) & links to applications that may, or may not be on your machine, or in different folder/locations etc and thus will probably not work (which is probably why you don't see them available for download!). Themes are a good way to save a favourite setup you've created for yourself.

To customise the look of OD you want to download backgrounds and/or tabs (AKA tabbed backgrounds).

to magnify when the mouse rolls over (just like a mac) it doesnt seem to do it though or when it does it stays like that for some time.

I have the plus version so if you have freeware it may be somewhere else, but on the dock settings dialog there's a 'performance options' button. Have you tried adjusting this?

Magnification also relies a lot on your graphics card capability (IIRC) so make sure you have the latest drivers etc.
