Help me pls~

Bootskin is not working

Hi,


I get an error screen when I boot where it says windows has the options of starting up with safe mode; after applying the bootskin I downloaded from WinCustomize.  It won't let me use the new startup screen...can anyone pls help?  pls....


BTW:  I have bought this Sony Vaio about 1.5 yrs ago with Windows XP..is this the problem?  -_-;;

Bootskins are not compatible with all computers. I also have a Sony and I cannot use the program. I would suggest you load under Safe Mode and change back to the default bootscreen and then uninstall the program.

I have a Sony VAIO & of the problems I have had, that's not one of them. I use the the boot screen program without a problem. Have you uninstalled the program, rebooted & then reinstalled it?

If that doesn't work, there is more than one version at the Bootskin download page. Try one of the otheres.

I did try download the other versions but nothing will work -_-;  Also, it says to delete vidstub in the folder system32..what does that do?



I think my version of Sony Vaio is different to citsym.
