SD Central crashes on download

One of the last updates to SD Central has broken my downloads from the "Skins and Themes" section. As soon as I click the "Download" button on the downloads screen or double-click on an item to download it, Dr. Watson pops up with the "Stardock Central has encountered a problem and needs to close." Strangely other downloads from SD Central, such as Object Desktop downloads work just fine. The problem ONLY exists with the "Skins and Themes" part of the program.
I received a patch from SD that didn't correct the problem. I'm not running firewall software (I'm behind a corporate firewall). I do have Symantec AV installed but so far it hasn't interfered with any other software therefore I'm not sure its causing the problem. At any rate I can't disable it to see 'cause of a domain policy.
If anyone has had/solved a similar problem with SD Central please let me know.
