Thank you, HG! It's the most wonderful time of the year, starting about now. I hope your holidays and everybody's are blessed ones.

Is it that time already? Where did the last year go?
Thanks for the heads up HG!

I guess I haven't been in a store in a few weeks. I know they usually start getting the X-mas decorations out right after Halloween. It's about this time of year I have to hide the checkbook from my wife and accuse her of losing it.

Well.....Happy Holiday Season to all!

May the ground always rise to meet your feet,
the wind always be to your back,
the snowflakes always fall slowly,
and your coffee always be smooth and hot.

Best wishes for a safe and fun holiday season.

I know, I'm an uneducated midwesterner, so what the heck is a "dunny"?
My dictionary says dunny is deaf or stupid. Doesn't quite go, does it?

A 'dunny' is an outside toilet....

Around here it's referred to as the reading room.

Strewth, Jafo....isn't that a bit 'Bah humbugish', especially with all the extra food and drink around Chrissy? I can see it now.....a whole heap people hoping and praying the emus haven't already been next door

Quite a few refer to an inside one as dunny as well ....though it's called a rest-room, john, powder-room over there....nothing as common as toilet.
