Setup for a Gamer

What would you recommend?

Hey guys! Well I'm a huge Gamer (mostly PC but console as well) And I was thinking of customizing my computer to make it suit for a true gamer (by the look of it) so what WindowBlinds or Desktop X or ObjectDock stuff would you guys recommend to suit for a gamer?

Thanks a lot guys!

i am a gamer and i use quite a few diffrent styles of desktops .. mainly it boils down to what you like .. i mostly like tech style stuff.. if you click on my name and then view my personal pages i have a few screen shots in there of various desktops i setup using all kinds of stuff from here ...most of the Screenshot's have descriptions of the skins used for what program as well as links to the skins.... theres really no easy way to find exactly what your looking for except to search the librarys:)

If you really like gaming, you'll do yourself the favor of not installing unnecceary software that takes up resources. I use windowblinds and a couple other stardock products because they make my GUI look nice. But I don't play PC games so I don't care.

although when playing games, you might want to close off some of those dx objects and maybe sysmetrix and rainlendar as well... they don't take up huge amounts of memory, but they take up some memory nonetheless.

agreed .. but the "installation" of the programs is not going to really effect the pc's performance ..but yes it is wise to not run stuff like Widgets/Sysmetrix and extras while playing...but WB and iconpackager typically dont hurt a pc's performance while playing...
