Control Center/Virtual Desktops

Hoping someone out there still uses Control Center

I live and die with the virtual desktops, and have a problem with making apps 'stick' through all the desktops. Control Center and Tab Launchpad work fine, easy to configure this, but the one I want doesn't work, and that is Winamp.

I really want it to be on each desktop, but when I try to configure it, there seems no way to lock it in as just winamp.

When no songs are playing, it follows the desktops because it is called Winamp, but when I play a song, the title changes to Winamp + (song title) and doesn't lock into each destktop. I tried the 'class' setting, and matching partial names, but no go.

Anyone do this successfully, or is Control Center buggy like a lot of the utilities?

Here is the goofy part: With a playlist loaded, when I choose "match partial names" it works, but as soon as I load a different playlist, it stops following the active desktop.

Gotta have it, anyone know how to get it?

Thanks,

John

I fixed a glitch in your account info, though I doubt this has anything to do with your problem.

Control Center has unfortunately been made obsolete by Stardock Central, and is no longer supported.

If I understand your situation correctly, are you trying to have winamp universal to all of your virtual desktops?

yea, that is what I am hoping to do. Too bad about obsoleting Control Center. Seems like all there is going to be left is eye candy. I just  like being productive, and so I use CC and Launchpad

If you have any suggestions about how to get winamp into each desktop, I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks,

John
