yeah, i kinda figured as much. i tend to screw things up, so i was hoping.
went to remove one program in add/remove, mouse click didn't register for the program i wanted..removed the wrong thing...still not sure what it was since it disappeared.

The 2.0 beta made my computer puke. I had to reinstall 1.1 because I had to have it for AutoCAD2006 to run. I'd appreciate it if somebody who uses AutoCAD 05 or 06 and has 2.0 installed would mention whether they encounter any problems with their license.

i found out through Yrag you can have both 1.1 and 2 installed, they won't conflict.
at least it worked with the beta.

ON the page it says:
IMPORTANT: If you have installed previous pre-release versions of .NET Framework v2.0, such as Beta 1, Beta 2 or Community Technical Preview (CTP) builds, then you must uninstall these versions via Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel before installing this final release version.

I haven't installed this final release yet, as I'm not sure how my Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 will react. But in a couple of weeks I'll be able to buy VS2005 final anyways.

Thanks Bichur, I thought I had asked that a few months back and was told to uninstall 1.1
I'll probably wait until one of the weekends to give it a try.
