SkinStudio problem

Hi, and first, sorry for my bad english.


I have a problem with all the skin I edit in skin studio, allways the same : checkboxes and uncheckboxes don't apears in my windows. I have no problem with the skins I download made by other users.


I don't understand because the only thing I edit on these boxes is the color, I don't touch anything else.


Thank you if someone has a solution.

Are the checkboxes in the tga format?

Are you editing the images in the tga format, or having SkinStudio convert them to png?

What image editor are you using?

OK, I saw the problem ....... tga


I try to edit but skin studio make a png and the tga stay the same. How can I edit in tga format ?


I use Paint Shop Pro 9

Don't worry about editing the image as tga, let SkinStudio do the conversion to png for editing. It should convert back to tga when the skin is saved in SkS.

Now we have to figure out what's going wrong.
As tedious as it may be, descbribe the steps you take to edit the image.

I simply double-clic on it, it opens in PSP, I colorize and save. BMP and PNG change without problems ( I see my color ) but not the tga when I save.

I use PSP 8.10, but this setting may be in 9 also.

Go to File > Preferences > File Format Preferences > PNG tab > uncheck "Load and save transparency from /to alpha channel" > OK.

See if this makes any difference.
