Would all Stardock Programs transfer in-full to external and return in-full to main?

Anyone using a Kanguru?

Needing just a simple unit in the event XP needs to be reinstalled...and usually this is the case from time-to-time.

It would seem you'd get an exact copy of whatever you chose to backup, but I'm guessing that you'd also need to copy the Stardock registry entries for the applications to work properly when reinstalled on the new OS.

Never thought of "registry entries"; thanks a million starkers! Perhaps, instead of going with the external hard drive I wanted, I should go with this one:http://www.kanguru.com/pc_clone.html
