I think the only way to change this is by manually editing the background.ini file of each Background.

Bichur... with the free version, you don't have tabs.

In the background.ini, you can edit the tab's color, but not the font.

That's the font setting for the mouseover on the shorcuts.

[Info]
Name = Aero No 1 Black Font
ColorMe = 0
TextColor = 66 70 73
ShadowColor = 248 248 248
TabOverlapLeft = 5
TabOverlapRight = 5

[Info]
Name = Aero No 1 White Font
ColorMe = 0
TextColor = 255 255 255
ShadowColor = 0 0 0
TabOverlapLeft = 5
TabOverlapRight = 5

Examples for font-colour settings, I wonder whether it would be possible to insert a "Font = ..." line?

??? Did you try and reapply the tab (switch to another background and then switch back to your modified background)?

...strange that, it works for me!

It's the theme ini, right?

No, it's the "background.ini" for the tabbed background you wish to modify. If you're using a background that doesn't have tabs specified, there's nothing to edit.

A tabbed background.ini will look something like this:

[Info] Name = K-TEK
ColorMe = 0
TextColor = 0 0 0

TabOverlapLeft = 0
TabOverlapRight = 0
TabContentBufferLeft = 6
TabContentBufferRight = 6

Non tabbed backgrounds will not have this info in the ini file, and will use the 'Standard' (default) tabs.

I tried this and still not working. I'm about to give up. Don't want to take up your guys time.

That is the way you do it.

It lists 3 numbers like this # # #

It might be 38 255 0 but just add a space inbetween each

Each # is also between 0 and 255 the first is red, then green then blue.

0 0 0 is black

255 255 255 is white

Easiest way to figure the color you want is using the color picker in photoshop or something else will give you the RGB number settings.

After you change these numbers, make sure you save the file, open OD properties and go to tabs, re-apply the skin and set it to apply to all tabs. If that doesn't work, change the skin to something else and set to all, then back and set to all. If that doesn't work restart the exe. If that doesn't work come back and tell me. If that doesn't work I'm jumping out of my window and screaming the entire 2 foot drop.

Hello, is it possible to set the offside and width of the shadow? I want to have a white font with black outline around the font. I have a glass (transparent) tabs, so having the white font with black outline would be perfect for my weak eyes.
Thank you.

X-( Ohh... too bad, I hope someday it would be implemented. I'm sure, many transparency or glass lovers would love this.

Thank you for the answer, Cavan1. :)

Just so you are aware that has been a request for a quick tool. I will make sure the developers read this thread.
