New WB

Stardock subscriber here. I installed the newest version of WB and now some skins that were installed before don't show up on the Display properties-Appearance. Any help will be apreciated.

Thanks

In the Windowblinds Configuration "My Skins" page, have you tried clicking the "Refresh button" or the "Treeview button" (next to it)? Which skins are having trouble loading?

I am having the same problems.
Running Windows XP Pro SP2 with AMD 64 3200, 1 gig Ram, ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder 9800

When I try to load a skin as I used to from the WinCustomize website and I get the balloon to click and apply, it appears to be applying, but doesnt. It doesn't show up in the Skins preview list in WBConfig either. If I try to load one using the "Install Skin From Disk" option in WBConfig, it needs to be in a Zip file or it doesn't seem to recognize it as a skin file, and even then, when I select the Zipped skin file, it says "it appears there is no UIS file associated with this, are you sure this is a Windowblinds skin" or something like that, I say yes, my hard drive churns, but nothing gets loaded. I've tried the refresh and tree view buttons as well, but no luck. Below is the text from the troubleshooting utility:
WindowBlinds 5 BETA Troubleshooting Report:

STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC.

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

You have one monitor in total.

(Plug and Play Monitor) 1 is attached to ALL-IN-WONDER 9800 SERIES
'ALL-IN-WONDER 9800 SERIES - Secondary' also exists as device '\\.\DISPLAY2', but is not attached to the desktop.
'NetMeeting driver' also exists as device '\\.\DISPLAYV1', but is not attached to the desktop and is a mirror driver.
'RDPDD Chained DD' also exists as device '\\.\DISPLAYV2', but is not attached to the desktop and is a mirror driver.

I have also noticed that if I run HydraVision to enable Translucency effects in the right click menus, etc., when I scroll over the text in the menus, the text disappears under a dark translucency. When I turn off Desktop manager in Hydravision, the text in the rightclick menus is highlighted normally, or as it appears it was intended to. Seems to be a conflict with ATI's Hydravision effects and WB5.

Also struck the same issue....some blinds that worked in WB4 are not working in WB5, refresh, install from disk and clean installing does not resolve the issue. Idustrial Ecstacy by Drill n' Boss is one example.
