A couple of questions

Hello, a couple things I am wondering about: What happens when the new windows os comes out? Will Object Desktop work with it?


Is Stardock central really neccessary, and does it consume alot of resources on ones PC?

Unfortunately we cannot disclose most of the information concerning Windows Vista, but we can say that we expect to offer products which support it. We will continue to support Windows XP/2K after Vista is released (until Microsoft ceases it's support on XP/2K). By subscribing to Object Desktop, you are entitled to all releases and prereleases while your subscription lasts.

Stardock Central is a light application despite it's collection of features. When idle, it doesn't use any cpu time and takes just under 5mb of memory. I myself run it in the background regularly.
