Outlook icon representing multiple e-mails open?

Is there any way to show multiple e-mails open with Outlook or another Office 2000 program where thay are ganged in one icon with a number, rather than each one have a separate icon open?

I know I can represent each separate window with its image, but they are really too small to see what each represents, so would prefer to see one icon indicating numer of similar windows open.

If you use Object Dock, it will display the program icon with a number showing how many instances of that program are open.

Mike, thanks for your reply. For some reason I don't get this. I am using Object Dock (free version). For me Outlook (2000) just opens multiple icons, but if I exit Object Dock the standard Windows task bar does show one icon with the number. Does it matter what icon/png you use. I downloaded one of the png files from the docklet site.

I actually have a follow up question as well. Is there a way to have a different icon for the program and for the e-mails - in Windows you have the letter icon representing mail, but when I try to change the icon representing the program or mail, it appears to be the same - outlook.exe

Thanks,

Unfortunately, icon grouping is not available in the free version. That screenshot I submitted was of the ObjectDock Plus version. It does not matter which image you use (but version type must be plus).

As far as I'm aware, there is no way to have a different icon from the Outlook icon representing emails. Although Outlook opens the emails in a separate window, it is still running under the main process msimn.exe, so implementing this feature might be tricky.. though I am just running Outlook Express.
