Are you using any other Stardock programs along with this one (please list version numbers also)? Is this a recurring problem even after uninstalling/reinstalling?

Had the program worked previously at all?

I am using it with several Stardock products. Window Blinds, Object Bar, DesktopX and others. Not all running at the same time, Mostly only Window Blinds. It ran fine the first time I downloaded it. Not sure if that was before WB5 or not. I tried the public version and it worked for a while, but is now not working. It must be my configuration cause it works on a different PC. Just not sure where to start…

PS. Great job to all stardock ppl. I really like all the new stuff and updates! I have always thought stardock was ahead of its time and on the cutting edge.

Most pleased to see Mike visiting and making note of not only problems w/IconX, but other areas.

corey1138: My recommendation would be to start with a clean slate and work your way back from there to you regular windows setup. (Of course I'm not implying a format/restore of your system; this I reserve for emergencies ONLY.)

I'd first uninstall IconX and make sure you clear the cache: (C:\Documents and Settings\

Your response to corey1138 above RESOLVED my problem. Startup programs were not an issue. Apparently, clearing the cache was the key after uninstalling IconX. Now, I can use the purchased version of IconX along with loading DesktopX "objects". Your notes & Link were used. Taking the time to visit Stardock Support on WinCustomize; specifically IconX, has clearly resolved my problem and hopefully will resolve problems others have been experiencing.
