It may be because you are not subscribed. I beleive there is a limit if you are not.

ravenseyes You have reached the 100 meg download limit in the 16 weeks you've been a member.  That is generally considered sufficient 'try before you buy'.  Now it's time to subscribe to the site to contribute to the on-going running costs brought about by this very same downloading....

I was under the impression that you had unlimited downloads for a year if you bought software. Hum.

Have you cross-refrenced your account ... ?

Thats what I thought i bought the windowblinds for the 19.95 not to long ago it has not been a year around June, I too thought that it was unlimited downloads for a year with free updates. Something is wrong here i think

Okay, forgive my ignorance...

But just so that we're clear on the gist of things... you register an account AND purchase a subscription to fill the bar and help the site/earn unlimited downloads? Or is something else unclear? I'm sure that plenty of other people with good intentions are doing one or the other with only part of the necessary information needed to fill up the cool thermometer at the top of the main page.

A reminder/clarification may be in order for friends like RavensEyes, as well as new visitors to WC that would want to help out in the drive. Sometimes spreading the word around is not enough. Maybe a blurb under the thermomter can help?

I will check to see if i crossed referenced. As for the rest I think I wont be downloading now that I know that subscriptions and purchasing products are seperate purchases completely and to continue downloading I have to purchase a subscription...geez...the products are great i love the wincustomize and the other products look very interesting as well but buying the product itself should come with a year of unlimited downloading at least and possibly making a donation of the 19.95 to continue the service (after the year) that would be better of a deal I think.
"I could help by new features for wincustomize but it should be a choice"
had I known I was paying 19.95 for a trial period ( which is what it says when i try to download)I would not have bought it. But I will check the cross reference thing, just in case. Thank you for the replies

Raven, you 'should' have unlimited downloads now... there is definately something going on that needs looked into. Cross-referencing your account should help with this. If it does not, then send an email to sales@stardock.com, and they will look into it for you.

It 'appears' that you have cross-referenced...as you show as 'current customer'....so you shouldn't be at a limit.  Let us know if you're still having 'problems'....so they can be sorted....

sorry to bug in you guys but i just want to find out something.

im now an Apprentice (2) and i've been a wincustomize user (not a subscriber) since late summer 2004. i have downloaded 92 MB so far. and i'm also a Visitor (2). Does that mean that if i reach to 100 MB, i can't download anymore?
