Problem with latest beta and Copernic

The latest beta of Windowblinds 5 is not skinning Copernic Agent Personal properly. The panes on the left-hand side of the main search window are rendered in black until a search has been carried out. Even then only part of the panes changes to the correct black text on a white background. Also parts of the background are rendered as transparent when they should be white. This problem occurs with Copernic version 6.12, build 722. I am running Windows XP Home SP2.

Was this application properly skinned on previous versions of Windowblinds?

When you say, "parts of the background are rendered as transparent", which parts of the background are you referring to?

Please add Copernic Agent Personal to the "Per Application" list to be excluded from skinning until this issue can be addressed.

What WB version are you using? This was happening to me with the "Open With..." dialog. I upgraded to 4.9c and it seemed to fix it.

I am using version 4.90d[b].002. Copernic skinned properly with Windowblinds version 4. Would screen prints of the application showing the problem and one with Copernic left unskinned be helpful? If so, how do I include them?

Best wishes

That would be very helpful if you could post screenshots.

You will need to have a website to upload your images. (it's always good to have a site to upload to just in case you need to make something available to someone and have no other means of transport) There are many free website hosting options; check out http://www.freewebspace.net/guide/diskstorage.shtml

Once you have your screenshot uploaded to the site, you can press the "image" button and paste the url of the image in your post.

From the sounds of it, you might just have to hang in there until an update including the fix is released. There are many general issues that must be addressed before specific problems can be given a lot of attention.

We appreciate your having submitted this problem.
