Black backgrounds in grids when using WindowBlinds Version 5

I am running an application, Rockwell Software, which suddenly stopped working correctly after I upgraded to WindowBlinds 5. I have tried uninstalling windowblinds but it is not helping. All my tables in this application now have black etxt on a black background. If I highlight the cells I still see nothing. If I select a cell I see the value as white text on a bluse background. I am running out of ideas. I also note in Stardock Central it says I have both WindowBlinds 4 and 5 installed. If I uninstall 4 I get an error message. If I uninstall 5 it shows both 5 and 4 are gone. If I run 5 and this app then it corrupts around the edge of tabs as well.

It sounds like these applications do not play nicely together...which version of Windowblinds5 Beta are you running and which version of Windows (including service packs).

If Rockwell Software is causing issues when Windowblinds attempts to skin it, you should add it to the "Per Application" list to be excluded from skinning.

Should you want to remove Windowblinds5 Beta and are not able to perform this task in the conventional way, there is always the option of the Windows System Restore feature (assuming you have not disabled this):

-When starting your computer, enter safe mode:
-Tap F8 and a boot selection screen should come up (if you see the Windows loading screen, you've missed it)
-Press the "No" button to load the System Restore application.
-Follow the prompts and choose a date before Windowblinds5 Beta was installed.

The issue with Stardock Central displaying both versions of Windowblinds installed is a known issue, and will hopefully be addressed in the next Stardock Central update.

Please remember that although Beta releases give you access to new features, you should assume the program is potentially unstable. This is not a general release.
