Select Data Source (ODBC driver) error

On touching anything related to WB5, a window pops up and asks for a data source. All I have in themes is Windows Classic.

I assume that you were running nlite?

No, I have not used nlite. I assume this would be one of the common files I accidentally deleted when uninstalling something.

Is there any way to get them back? System restore doesn't go back far enough to help.

I got this same error after WB 5 working great since I installed and upgraded it to Beta 003. It happened when I tried to either delete a skin through the WB Configuration or add a new one (I can't be sure which). I tried to restore the previous build and even go back to the first WB 5 build and that didn't work. What I ended up doing was uninstalling WB totally and redownloading/reinstalling WB 5. Opening the GUI after that was slow as molasses for the first couple of times then after that it has been working fine.

I am getting the same thing. I had a WB4.6 Enhanced version and upgraded to Object Desktop. Uninstalled 4.6 and installed 5b. Tried uninstalling everything totally and reinstalling, still getting the Data Source issue. I don't use Nlite either.

Anyone out there having this issue still besides me?

This "Select Data Source" window will come up if for some reason your system does not have any database support. Reinstalling Windowblinds5 Beta might fix the issue, but if it doesn't, you might need to run a repair install on your system.

Edit: I'm sending a message to the development team regarding this issue.
