Pretty Consistent Issue with Menus

Using the Arrow skin, after I play any video on my computer, the menus switch from a nice transparent white to a very dark gray/black. In fact, in the lower left corner of my desktop if I right-click I can't even read the text on most of the menu.

It appears as though when video plays, it's changing how the menu transparency works.. or at least the base color for the transparency. I've tried this on two different computers, one with NVIDIA Go 6600TE and one with NVIDIA Go 6800 Ultra.

If I reload the skin the menus go back to normal.

As a side note: The Arrow skin is really great, but as someone who uses Vista regularly, the glass should be a little less transparent than it is. The current glass is more like the earlier Vista glass styles, but MS has made them a bit less transparent to help in visibility when windows overlap.

I get that problem as well, after playing games, and bizarrely enough when AOL explorer runs. By the looks of things, it may have something to do with apps making DirectX calls to draw on screen that is messing things up for WB (video -> DirectX, games -> DirectX 3D, AOL browser (non-standard GUI + tab preview overlay) -> DirectX, anyone see the pattern?) My card is a 5900XT.

I don't see this in my ATI RADEON 9800 card. I have a laptop with a Go 6400 card, but I haven't used it much lately so I don't know.

I do see this on an NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000.  I have emailed Kris Kwilas a fair amount of detail about it including screencaps.  Hopefully we'll get this one cracked.
