Tab Launcher questions

The whole Object Desktop suite looks really cool. However, what lead me here was a search for "tab launchers". I have not found one that I'm happy with, and was hopeing that the one that comes with OD will do what I'm looking for. Unfortunatly, none of the links (i.e. FAQ, Screenshots, etc.) seem to work when I try to get more information. There is no demo, and this is the "deal breaker" for me (for now) to decide to purchase the software.

What I'm looking for:

1) click tab and it expands to applications to launch
2) customizable to have large/small icons or text only (I prefer just plain text)
3) create submenues
4) easily configurable (i.e. drag-n-drop, list contents of a directory, etc)

Can it do these things? Basially, I'm looking for somthing like the "All Programs" portion of the "Start" menu in a Tab.

I have many applications and documents I use for my job and would like to organize.

Thanks,

Dan T.

It sounds like you might want either Object Dock or Desktop X.

Object Dock comes with feature #1,#4

With Desktop X, you can essentially accomplish anything. Have a look at this link: https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=5391&LibID=13

You're able to either edit existing scripts or create them from scratch. The potential for what you can create is limited only by your imagination!
